Use creativity, unique style, originality, innovation, discretion and good news judgment to enterprise, prepare and disseminate news stories in newscasts, during live reports and on the web site. Find local information in an innovative way. Cultivate and maintain contacts and evaluate leads/tips to develop story ideas. Utilize sources to develop substantive news stories. Write creatively and accurately to video. Provide live coverage of breaking events. Take initiative and be a leader in the newsroom. A minimum of two years experience preferred. Good news judgment and knowledge of fair and accurate journalism practices. Ability to tell stories and ad-lib effectively. Strong writing skills and thorough knowledge of current events; must be a team player. Working knowledge of newsroom computers.

Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
Responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating all tradeshows
Reaching out to key verticals and publications to establish relationships in the commercial refrigeration and frozen yogurt industry
Managing public relation efforts for multiple brands which include creating press releases
Create, design, manage and launch any new lead generating websites with the graphic designer, web developer and SEO specialist
Managing writers that compose blog posts for multiple brands and sites
Analyzing and slicing groundbreaking digital research
Help in the development of pricing strategies
Copy editing and proof reading
Monitoring social media outlets and reporting opportunities for engagement.
Monitoring and reporting website analytics to management.
Assisting in distribution of digital content across social networks and key online channels.
Identifying opportunities for content development based on timely events, brand-centric topics and thought leaders.
Creating and editing PowerPoint decks for SlideShare.
Online research as requested by managers
Determine and manage the marketing budget and deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
Must have at least 5+ years of proven marketing experience
Bachelor’s Degree (required) in advertising, marketing, journalism, communications, web design or development or have a Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent professional marketing experience
Work experience creating content in advertising, public relations, online marketing or similar environments
Must have excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills with formal presentation skills.
Above average research and writing skills with the ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures without extensive training
Ability to quickly pivot and assume different writing styles and voices according to defined needs
Ability to assist in content research and produce consistent results
Ability to contribute to both creative and analytical discussions
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. This means obsessive planning, calendar-keeping and process-sharing with tools like Dropbox
Proven ability to engage an online audience both personally and on behalf of a B2B or B2C brand
Functional knowledge and basic experience with HTML and CSS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Proficiency with Google Docs and similar cloud-based services
Proficiency with Constant Contact or similar e-mail marketing solutions
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite products (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator)
Proficiency with the WordPress content management system
Basic understanding of Google AdWords and SEO research tools
Understanding of the social engagement landscape including Facebook,Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, InstaGram, Forums, Wikis, blogs, and anything else we forgot to mention!
